33.7mm Pie Cut Jigs
This kit is for cutting straight tube into pie cut sections to then make custom bends for those tight and intricate jobs, or to show off your skills in fabrication and welding, these jigs will remove the hard work of measuring and cutting and make the whole process ease and repeatable for as many pieces as needed.
The jig will fit inside the clamp of the saw, it also uses the compression from the clamp to then grab ahold of the tube. Adjust the angle of the blade to match the jig and its ready to go.
There are included centreline markers for all the included tubing diameters.
I have an excel sheet which calculates how much the tube needs to protrude from the jig for a given centreline radius, this can then be set up on a vernier gauge and perfectly symmetrical pie cuts can then be produced. The calculator is available on the website can can also be downloaded. Calculator
This also includes my centreline markers which come in two versions to draw two lines 180 degrees apart, and 3 lines at 90 degrees apart. These use an m4 bolt with either a hex or allen cap head, there is an included knob to glue on which will turn them into a thumb screw for holding the pens in which can be up to 14mm in diameter.
Diameters included:
33.7mm - 9, 15 Degree
Any material can be used but materials with a higher temperature rating would be better, especially for prolonged use cutting bends down.
No supports needed on most printers, especially if they have auxiliary part cooling.
Print models in orientation they are already in
At least 4 walls and 25% infill
