4.00 Inch Mandrel Bend Y Cutting Jigs
🔧 Product Description
This jig kit is designed for securely holding and cutting 4.00" mandrel-bent tubing to create accurate Y-connections from either 90° or 180° bends. It provides a stable and repeatable setup for precise fabrication, whether using a clamp or a bandsaw.
The jig features integrated alignment pins to assist when applying clamping pressure, as well as provisions for two M8 Allen bolts when a more controlled fastening method is required—ideal for bandsaw use.
Unlike standard jigs limited to 90° cuts, this design includes three additional angle options: 45°, 60°, and 75°. These angles are measured per side, meaning the final included angle of the completed Y will be double the selected value (e.g., 45° per side results in a 90° total angle).
⚠️⚠️Only 1.5D jig will cut with material all the way round the bend using the 45 degree mark properly, smaller CLR bends will not work.⚠️⚠️
Any material can be used but materials with a higher temperature rating would be better, especially for prolonged use cutting bends down.
May need some supports on the holes for the bolt depending on how well your printers deals with overhangs.
